The Eternal Song is a cinematic journey through timeless lands and their Indigenous cultures. Voices from around the world and across generations call us to witness the deep, ongoing scars left by colonization on lands and people, and the healing that comes through ancestral wisdom.
**** PANEL TALK/Q&A after the screening with:
RAKEL SANIMUINAQ is an Inuit practitioner from East Greenland working within the Tunumiut shamanic tradition. Her work focuses on soul healing through connection with nature and the ancestors, and on the healing of trauma caused by colonisation. Through drum journeys and spirit contact, she teaches about Inuit perspectives on healing, consciousness, and the relationship between humans and the living world.
Rakel is also featured in the documentary series The Eternal Song, where Indigenous healers from different parts of the world share their paths and knowledge.
OLOF LINDQVIST is a Vitki and Seiðrman, a practitioner and teacher of Nordic paganism. Olofs work centres around bringing the spiritual practices from the source material into everyday life, using an animist approach. His goal has always been to decolonize our mind and to reconnect and heal our relationship with the earth and the landscape. His upbringing on Gotland, an island in the baltic sea, brought him a deep connection with living folklore and folkmagic. Olof is also an artist and a writer.
